The NBA Dress Code

I have no problem with it. The NBA wants to represent a certain image to the public - it's really just "business casual" anyways. Some NBA players are coming out saying it's "racist" and against their "culture". Since when is wearing a hat sideways, gold chains, etc..etc make a culture??

Here is a great reason to stop professional sports players from wearing all the, uh, "Bling". Most young kids in the inner cities don't have the cash to afford these items, but feel that they're of a higher status if they have it. So it might drive them to crime. Remember "Air Force Ones" by Nelly? It's ridiculous how it reinforces material goods = social status; which can drive theft, muggings, and other crimes up.

The day that wearing expensive chains outside your clothing defines your culture is the day that I move to antartica and say "enough of this."!!!!
