I had won passes to an advance screening of lucky number slevin because I made a final table at the red hot poker tour at yellow griffin. The first act of the movie was pretty good - witty at times, and a little unpredictable. However, it then descends into a flat love story (witty banter?? I think not) and predictable expose (Think scooby-doo endings, but drag it out for 1/2 the movie).
It's almost like the script writer is saying "Look how smart I am for that twist!" Oh - and Lucy Liu is horribly miscast as a bouncy "fun" love interest. She comes off as desperately annoying.
